Human Care Incorporated’s vision is to educate those most in need to end the cycle of poverty. You can help eradicate and educate those less needy by sponsoring a student.
Human care was founded in 2003 with the mission of eradicating poverty in Fiji through education.
Our education project commenced by supporting students in primary education. Human Care then moved into the secondary education sector. This was later phased out after primary and secondary education was made free by the Fiji Government.
Our new mission is educating students and empowering them to not only change their life but their family’s lives by providing tertiary scholarship. We at Human Care strive to maintain family values such as harmony and support within a family by educating students who will support their families after completing their studies and securing work.
Human Care commenced its Tertiary Sponsorship scheme in 2012 and we have 85 graduates till 2019.
Human Care conducted research in the socio-economic status of underprivileged families in 2017. Initial results indicated that majority of the population was living below the poverty line and plagued with major health issues such as diabetes and cardiovascular problems.
Human Care Inc commenced Zakaat Assistance Project in 2018 in order to provide financial assistance to such families so that the are able to supplement their household income and buy much needed medication.
Currently we are supporting 86 families throughout Fiji under our Zakaat Assistance Scheme.
